
Rose is a trial lawyer who focuses on acting for
individuals who have suffered severe and life altering injuries in motor
vehicle accidents. Rose also spends time honing her skills as a trial lawyer
acting for victims of sexual abuse and those who have been subjected to
unfair practices in their employment. Rose has extensive experience
appearing before the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia
Court of Appeal and the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. Rose
graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, in 1992 and
was called to the British Columbia bar in 1993.
Rose has a strong
professional background, serving in many capacities with the Trial Lawyers
Association of British Columbia, including serving as president of this 1000
plus member professional organization. Rose continues to spearhead the Trial
Lawyers Association of British Columbia’s education program serving as Chair
of the Seminar Planning Committee. The Trial Lawyers Association of British
Columbia has long been recognized as the premier provider of continuing
education to trial lawyers. Rose is a frequent chair and speaker at
continuing education programs put on by the Trial Lawyers Association of
British Columbia and the Continuing Legal Education Society on a variety of
advocacy topics. Rose is also a contributor to a variety of legal
periodicals. Rose’s leadership in the profession has resulted in her being
chosen to lead a delegation of Canadian lawyers on a professional exchange
mission to China. Rose has also served as the Chair of the Advocacy
Committee of Lupus Canada. Rose is a longstanding member of the Trial
Lawyers Association of British Columbia , American Association of Justice,
Canadian Bar Association, and LEAF.
When not practicing law Rose
is an avid skier, snow boarder, runner, triathlete, golfer and mom. |
